Tens of thousands of gardeners and groundskeepers across the United States will flock to Lowe’s home improvement stores as spring approaches. And unless the store’s CEO decides right now not to stock Roundup, many will leave with toxic weed killers to spray on public parks, school playgrounds, and private lawns.
The people calling the shots at Lowe’s know that the World Health Organization says glyphosate, the primary ingredient in Roundup, is probably carcinogenic. But they keep selling it to their customers anyway.
We want to put up bus stop signs all around the Lowe’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina to publicly shame the company for selling toxic chemicals to its customers. But it’s expensive to put up enough ads to pressure the company into taking all glyphosate products off its shelves.
Can you chip in to help us plaster the streets of Charlotte with the truth about Lowe’s selling products that probably cause cancer?
