Brave journalists installed secret cameras and caught farmers in Iceland bleeding pregnant horses…to use their blood for hormone supplements. After attacking them with electric prods, they shipped the foals off to slaughterhouses as soon as they were born.
These beautiful creatures have the same emotions and awareness as toddlers – and they’re being tortured in the most sickening way.
But we can stop it.
Footage like this has forced governments in Spain and France to pass laws requiring surveillance where animals are handled -- making sure farms and factories can't become breeding grounds for the worst kind of animal cruelty.
If we replicate this smart strategy globally, we could pass the same laws for the whole of Europe, then bring these protections to the mega-factory farms in the US and Canada. All it takes is us coming together to fund thousands of cheap cameras, legal support for undercover animal defenders, and a massive media blitz to make this footage go viral.
Just $27 is enough to fund cameras and collect footage to end animal torture – can you chip in to help?
