A disturbing video released by PETA shows geese at the farm that provides Canada Goose with down being stepped on, grabbed by the neck and so distressed they pile on top of one another to the point of suffocating each other.
Canada Goose is dodging responsibility by claiming that these specific birds were not part of its supply chain. However, the farm definitely is -- and these practices aren’t an isolated incident.
Canada Goose needs to stop denying the reality of these brutal practices in its supply chain and ensure its farms are using humane and careful treatment of all its birds.

The multi-million dollar Canadian company claims that it doesn’t allow animal mistreatment in its supply chain. But we know what actually happens: birds stepped on, grabbed by the neck and crushing each other to death in distress -- an industry standard according to a spokesperson from a goose slaughterhouse who had seen the video.
Canada Goose can’t shirk responsibility by saying these aren’t its birds. This is a problem in the industry and Canada Goose has to do something about it before more birds suffer the same cruel fate.
SumOfUs has worked before to hold clothing manufacturers responsible for ethical animal treatment in their supply chains. Over 115 000 members like you called on to stop selling angora and prevent cruel treatment of rabbits -- and it worked. We know that we can make a difference again.
Will you join me in signing the petition to tell Canada Goose to clean up its supply chain?
