Across Vietnam, highly intelligent moon bears are kept in tiny jail cells, subjected to excruciating pain as bile is extracted from their gallbladders to be sold in illegal markets as “traditional medicine.”

Local activists have been working flat-out to free them – and now they’re asking for our help.

They’ve had amazing success staging rescues and convincing “bile farmers” to release the bears. But there are still 257 bears left on farms across the country, suffering every day. For these bears, the progress is too slow.
