Doug Ford just announced he’s axing Ontario’s critical cap and trade program -- and to make sure it never sees the light of day again, he’s planning to spend upwards of $60 million of Ontario’s tax dollars in a frivolous and pointless lawsuit to keep it out.
This immense attack on the climate will allow megacorporations like Shell, Esso and PetroCanada to pump unlimited climate-destroying greenhouse gases into the environment.
But with your help we can stop Ford’s plan before it gets pushed through.
Ford’s environment minister, Rod Phillips, is particularly vulnerable, especially as his riding’s traditionally been held by the Liberals. Conservative voters want fiscal responsibility, not economic chaos. With your donation we’ll plaster Phillips’ riding with hard hitting ads reminding constituents of their plan to waste $60 million dollars and cost the province billions in revenue.
But we need to raise $5,000 by the end of the week to get these ads out in the environment Minister’s home riding and up the pressure from the inside.
Will you chip in to stop Ford’s attack on the climate?
