Three years ago 14-year-old Molly Russell took her own life after viewing a stream of self-harm images on Instagram -- fed to her by algorithms designed to maximise profits for Big Tech.

Social media platforms are destroying lives, undermining elections and harming public health. But despite repeated promises, Boris Johnson has done nothing to stop them.

In two days, MPs are meeting to debate the issue in parliament -- with many calling on the government to immediately publish plans to clamp down on Big Tech’s abuses. If enough of us get behind them we can ramp up the pressure and force the government to act.
