In 2016, Bombardier laid off almost 3000 workers in Canada, while receiving bailouts from the Canadian and Quebec governments. In 2017, it is giving $32 million USD in bonuses to its executives.
This is unacceptable. Bombardier is taking government money to line the pockets of its executives while crying that it has no money to pay its factory workers.
It is defending its decision to hand out bonuses to executives during a time of financial crisis in the corporation. It's time to tell Bombardier there's no justification for bonuses while jobs are being cut.
Tell Bombardier to stop giant executive bonuses.
Thousands of everyday people lost their jobs at Bombardier. These lay-offs were a blow to thousands of Canadian families who were left without job prospects.
Imagine the shock and anger these families must be feeling knowing they have to struggle to make ends meet while Bombardier executives make increasingly extravagant amounts of money.
Bombardier has come under fire by media for its recent announcement. With added pressure from people like you we can ensure that Bombardier stops its plans for executive bonuses - a gross mismanagement of government bail-out money.
Please sign now to tell Bombardier to drop the executive bonuses.
