Ivanka Trump is running out of places to sell her self-branded fashion line. Nordstrom, Sears and Kmart have all decided to pull Ivanka merchandise from their shelves. But there’s a major holdout: Bed, Bath & Beyond.
BB&B carries Ivanka’s “Soho Solutions” diaper bag -- a shoddy, overpriced accessory that bears the Trump family name. The reviews are already bad, so if we can make BB&B realize that selling the fashion brand of a Trump advisor is a poor business model, they’ll drop it like a cheap suit.
The incredible #GrabYourWallet campaign has already convinced major retailers to drop Ivanka’s brand because the consumer boycott is killing their profit margins. It’s time to show Bed, Bath & Beyond that backing hate is bad for business.
Will you tell Bed, Bath & Beyond to drop Ivanka Trump’s merchandise label?
We are scoring major victories against any corporation that is profiting off of Trump’s hate. Over 900 corporations (and counting) have stopped advertising with Breitbart News, the alt-right hate site that helped elect Trump. 300,000 of us have signed a petition demanding that Amazon joins them. With these sorts of small but significant gestures, we are showing corporations that backing hate will no longer be tolerated.
Ivanka Trump may be the least odious member of the Trump administration: she’s smart, successful and seems to have a shred of human decency. But that’s why it is so important to challenge the way she puts a human face on policies that humiliate, demean and ostracize people of color, migrants, LGBTQ people and women. There can be no leeway for hate -- and we’re letting any corporation that carries her line of merchandise know this in no uncertain terms.
Tell Bed, Bath & Beyond to join Nordstrom, Sears and KMart and stop selling Ivanka Trump’s brand.
