As a BASF shareholder, you have the power to seek justice for the Marikana widows.
They are the widows of 34 miners killed at the hands of security forces while calling for a fairer, safer deal from their employer, multinational mining company Lonmin. Now, the Marikana widows are seeking justice from Lonmin by turning up the pressure on Lonmin through its largest customer, BASF.
At the BASF shareholder meeting on Friday, they’ve submitted a motion to call on BASF to pay what was promised to the Marikana widows.
Will you back their motion to call on BASF to get justice for the Marikana widows? Sign the petition to pledge your support.
