The largest coal mining project in Australia has an unlikely benefactor: the World Bank.

In gross violation of its “mandate for sustainable development,” the Bank is funding Adani’s Carmichael mega coal mine.

A US-based human rights organisation revealed that the Bank’s private sector arm has funnelled millions of dollars towards the project through banks like ICICI, which has received $520m from the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation since 2005.

SumOfUs members have already stood up in the tens of thousands against our government, against banks -- both local and international, to stop this disastrous mine.

And we've won before: together we made UK bank Standard Chartered and electronics giant LG commit to not financing this project.

Now, you can stand up to the World Bank, and show it that Australians don't want this dodgy, Reef-wrecking project to go ahead.

Tell the World Bank to cut its funding to the Carmichael mine and protect our Great Barrier Reef.
